Our project was very technical with sedation, anesthesia, specialized dental needs, and unique decor. We opened on time and on budget and with very minimal stress.”

When It Can’t Wait
Sometimes, no amount of preparation can prevent an unexpected disaster. When Coral Kids Dentistry’s sterilization center suffered major water damage, the clock immediately started. As the heartbeat of any dental practice and its most regulated space, this is the area that can’t go offline — and yet, it did. The practice had a fully booked patient calendar. Closing their doors would be a second kind of disaster.

When the water damage occurred, BNK was already in talks with Coral Dentistry about outfitting their office for more dentists.

They couldn’t wait for every detail to be finalized and every t crossed—so we didn’t.

Rebuilding
By that same weekend, engineers were assessing the damage, walls were cordoned off, and the remediation work had officially begun.

What followed was an intensive front-end process — filing damage reports, preparing insurance documentation, and sharing detailed, fully costed out approaches we could take to restore the space. Project success depended on continuous communication between the dental practice and their insurance company. We ensured all parts moved simultaneously, so the moment we had the green light, construction could begin.

Coral Kids Dentistry’s two-week shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s was the perfect opportunity for us to hit the ground running without disrupting their workflow. Rather than wait, we took advantage of the calm before the storm — building cabinetry, obtaining the proper permits, and gaining commitments from specialized trades despite the holiday.

The moment the clinic closed, BNK moved in — demolition, steel studding, drywall, flooring, a full IPAC-compliant sterilization infrastructure — all completed within the two-week time frame.

BNK remained on-site and on-call when Coral Kids first reopened to ensure everything functioned even better than it did before the flooding

Partnerships Mean Progress
None of this would have been possible without the ongoing relationship that existed between BNK and Coral Kids before disaster struck.

That trust transferred to the select specialty tradespeople we partner with, making them readily available during peak holiday season.

That bond of mutual trust and respect allowed us to rapidly respond, averting the devastating effects of water damage.

That’s what PRO-Active Partnership looks like when it matters most. Not a contractor waiting to be told what to do — a partner who already knows what needs to happen and makes it happen.

Coral Kids didn’t lose a single day of operation. And the relationship that made all of that possible is still going strong.
